Deposit and Reservation

At Houston’s Royal Havanese, we take great care to ensure each puppy is placed in a committed, loving home. To secure a puppy from one of our upcoming or current litters, we require a deposit and adhere to the following policy regarding reservations and payments.

Deposit Requirement

• A non-refundable deposit of $300.00(including vending fee) is required to reserve a puppy.

• No puppy will be considered reserved until the deposit has been received and confirmed in writing.

• Deposits are applied toward the total purchase price of the puppy.

Reservation Process

• Puppies are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis once deposits are received.

• When reserving from a current litter, buyers may be offered their choice in the order deposits are placed.

• For unborn or upcoming litters, we accept deposits based on preferred gender, coat colour, or general interest. Final selection may depend on availability once the litter is born.

Non-Refundable Terms

• All deposits are non-refundable, except in the unlikely event that:

  • The reserved puppy becomes unfit for sale due to health or developmental concerns.

  • The breeder is unable to fulfill the reservation for any reason (e.g. insufficient number of puppies born).

• If the buyer cancels for any reason (change of circumstances, change of mind, etc.), the deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee.

Transfer of Deposit

• In some cases, and at the breeder’s discretion, the deposit may be transferred to a future litter within 12 months.

• Transfer requests must be made in writing at least 2 weeks before the original puppy’s scheduled collection date.

• Transferring a deposit does not guarantee a specific puppy in future litters.

Final Payment

• The remaining balance is due before or on the day of collection of the puppy.

• Payments must be made via Cash, Credit Card, Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, and/or PayPal.

• Puppies will not be released until full payment has been received.
